Windows 11 update with AI and GPT-4

Microsoft has released the Moment 2 update for all Windows 11 users, which offers a number of new features. The most significant fresh feature is the new Bing search with integrated GPT-4, which brings the artificial intelligence (AI) based chatbot to the Windows taskbar. Here's how to install the update and use the new Bing.

Install Moment 2 update

Only devices running the latest Windows 11 version 22H2 will receive the Moment 2 update. Check if version 22H2 is installed by pressing the Windows key and then typing «winver». If yes, press the Windows key and the letter I at the same time and then install «2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based systems (KB5022913)».

If version 21H2 is running on your device, proceed as described above and first install version 22H2 and then the cumulative update KB50022913.

Use GPT-4 with Bing

Once you have successfully completed the update and restarted your device, open the Microsoft Edge browser.

After you have logged into your Microsoft account, the new functions of Bing are available to you. If you have not yet been activated, first click on "Put on waiting list". Once you are activated, you will be able to use all the features.
