New function
MindManager for Windows has long been your go-to solution for brainstorming, organizing information, and planning projects. With Mindjet MindManager 14 for Windows, it's now even easier to add content, work with rich maps, and develop presentations and detailed roadmaps. In addition, we have greatly expanded the functionalities for quantitative analysis, so that you can draw up and calculate detailed budgets, make forecasts and analyze portfolios, among many other tasks.
Intelligent budgeting and forecasting
With MindManager for Windows, you can now define and apply formulas to topics across the map, so you can see immediately how changes translate into numbers. Unlike traditional spreadsheet programs, Mindjet lets you easily drag and drop content or apply filters for quick visual what-if analysis. The new "Smart Fill" feature allows you to set the color of a topic property using a numerical value. This makes it easier to identify opportunities and problems, for example when the budget is overdrawn or further investments are necessary.
With the new formula function, calculated topic properties reach a new dimension. Complex formulas with multiple functions and operators are now also supported. Data is easy to edit and present, and you can define multiple calculated topic properties for any topic on the map.
Efficient project planning
With simplified task creation, project plans can be drawn up in no time at all. Add task details, edit due dates and update work status right on the map.
Use map and Gantt views to review priorities, schedules and resources. You then realize the projects directly with Microsoft Project in Microsoft SharePoint (with MindManager Server) or in Mindjet ProjectDirector.
Simplified map creation
Drag and drop important content from the desktop or any file system (such as Mindjet Files) into your maps. Now you can also drag and drop emails, tasks and contacts directly from Microsoft Outlook into project plans or organizational charts.
Faster navigation in complex maps
With the Map Index, you can find everything you need sorted by markers, hyperlinks, attachments, notes, etc. Want to quickly see a list of all attachments, or need to review all the formulas that contain key indicators of your project? The index allows you to easily navigate through all important content to check it.
Improved decision making
With 2x2 analysis views and method-based brainstorming, you shorten the decision-making process in the company. Brainstorm creative solutions to a complex problem. Evaluate the proposed solutions in a "risk versus reward" matrix and select the best variants.
New presentation tools with improved zooming and panning functions during the presentation make it easier to precisely tailor the information to the respective target group and thus clearly work out the strategic goals.
Compatible with all common tools
Import data from Microsoft Word and Project. Export data to Word, Project, PowerPoint, SWF, PDF, as images or web pages. Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft SharePoint can also be integrated into MindManager for Windows (although only in conjunction with MindManager Server, formerly Mindjet On-Premise).
