Spanning a variety of editing tools along with digital asset management capabilities, ACDSee Photo Studio Standard 2019 from ACD Systems is a powerful post-production tool for Windows operating systems. In terms of image editing, this 2019 edition sees a more well-rounded tool set, including an enhanced Black & White mode, for more fine-tuned contrast adjustments, and support for Color Lookup Tables, which can be applied as filter presets for stylized and repeatable results. Complementing the editing capabilities, a sophisticated Digital Asset Management system is also featured, which aids in organizing and locating files using a system of ratings, keywords, categories, and labels.
ACDSee Photo Studio Standard 2019
An enhanced Black & White mode affords more fine-tuned control over contrast adjustment by working in color channels during color-to-grayscale conversion, as well as brightness adjustment over specific color contrast ranges.
Apply watermarks to your imagery to discourage online theft or just to promote your own branding.
An AutoSave function automatically saves files with each action and allows you to move automatically to the next file for editing.
ACDSee Photo Studio supports the HEIF image file format for greater compatibility with smartphone imagery.
Auto Advance lets you seamlessly update metadata without having to sift through folders; this function automatically moves on to the next image in the File List pane for faster, more efficient updating.
Within Manage mode, keyboard shortcuts can be customized to make editing a more intuitive and streamlined process.
The Print dialog allows you to quickly adjust brightness, contrast, and sharpness settings to compensate for any printer issues experienced during a printing session.
Image Editing and Color Lookup Tables
Import and apply color LUTs (lookup tables) to map specific RGB values to other specific color values in order to create unique color grading presets. These presets, or filters, can then be brushed onto, applied gradually or radially, or simply be overlaid on imagery to create distinct and repeatable color effects.
Images can be geometrically adjusted through the use of cropping, flipping, resizing, and rotation tools; flaws can be corrected with red-eye, blurriness, noise, and clarity adjustments; special effects can be brushed on; and images can be complemented with the addition of text, borders, vignettes, watermarks, or even drawings.
The iOS and Android-dedicated ACDSee Mobile Sync app enables wireless transferring of files from a computer to a paired mobile device.
Digital Asset Management
Helping to find, sort, move, organize, and share imagery, files can be complemented with ratings, hierarchical keywords, categories, location data, visual tags, and customizable color labels for faster and easier identification of imagery.
