Improve your user experience with macOS Ventura
What's new?
New search
You get all info about contacts, albums, movies, sports, companies and much more at a glance. The scrollable preview, via the spacebar, gives a good overview of the results.
Quick actions in Spotlight
Spotlight can now be used to start focus, quickly set an alarm or use a shortcut.
Share
You can share tabs and bookmarks, send messages directly in Safari, and start FaceTime calls.
News about messages
Messages that have just been sent can be edited or the sending can be undone.
Better teamwork
Share reminders, presentations, notes, or Safari tap groups to instantly start collaborating with others. See news about shared projects in the conversation and communicate with others on the team directly from the app you're working in.
Share photo library
You can share your iCloud photo library with up to five other people. The advantage - all of them can contribute to the family collection, vacation experiences or events and complete the memories. Everyone can see the photos, even if they didn't take the pictures themselves.
Synchronized everywhere
To add, share, or delete photos, everyone in the shared library has the same permissions. Tags, favorites, and captions are also synced across everyone.
Use iPhone as a webcam
The iPhone's powerful camera can be used with a Mac computer. Just hold the iPhone directly to the Mac to automatically switch the iPhone as the active camera. It all works wirelessly.
The new Freeform
It looks like a big whiteboard where everyone can contribute and share their ideas. Use the productivity app to plan projects, brainstorm, or draw something with friends. Files, web links, documents, videos and audios can be inserted easily.
Collaborate in real time
Invite others to collaborate via a link and get started right away. The canvas is shared in real time and everyone sees what is added or changed.
